
1. Start small. Designing a nursery can be overwhelming. Start with a favorite piece of anything as your inspiration or jumping off point and design around it. Whether it be your ideal crib bedding or something as small and as simple as a meaningful piece of art.
2. Always add an area rug to finish the room even if the room has wall to wall carpet. Nothing is sweeter than a small, fluffy, white sheepskin rug for tummy time.
3. Complete the room with proper window treatments. While a little valance is cute, try window panels. It will add a bold design presence and make the room look and feel taller.
